  CAPTAIN SAMMY

  Captain Sammy was born and raised in the beautiful coastal town of Beautiful Beaufort, SC. Growing up on a small family farm in the lowcountry, he was often on the water, whether it was deep sea fishing, shrimping, crabbing, water skiing, knee boarding or swimming, most activities included a boat and water!
  He comes from a large family that was well known around town for their hospitality and love of food, and that legacy continues with him today. Entertaining is in his blood, whether it’s game night, being a tour guide, or showing you how to sail, Sam’s upbeat personality is sure to shine through. Snorkeling and Spearfishing and Diving are at the top of his list of fun things to do, along with hiking and exploring new and exciting places. No matter the activity, he is sure to keep you entertained and laughing all along the way!
  Along with having over 10,000 nautical miles sailing the Caribbean since 2019 and the last two seasons running over 40 charters in the US and British Virgin islands.

  CHEF MARISOL

  Marisol brings vibrant energy, sharp attention to detail, and a true love of life at sea to every charter. With hands-on experience aboard private and tourism vessels, she moves effortlessly between the interior and the galley — delivering polished service one moment and beautifully plated, flavor-forward cuisine the next.
  Her food is fresh, colorful, and thoughtfully crafted to elevate the charter experience without ever feeling fussy. From bright island breakfasts to elegant sunset dinners, she understands that meals set the rhythm of the day onboard.
  In the water, she’s just as confident. Passionate about marine life and completely at home in the ocean, Marisol loves guiding guests through snorkeling adventures and hidden island moments that become the stories they tell long after the trip ends.
  Calm under pressure, naturally organized, and genuinely warm, she creates an atmosphere that feels effortless — where every detail is handled, every guest feels seen, and every charter becomes something special.

  We all had an incredible time! You are both amazing yachtsmen and hosts. You made our BVI experience a lifelong memory. Perhaps one day you will make it up to Alaska for your fishing experience. Meanwhile each time I attempt to make a ‘lime in the coconut’ I will think of you love and hugs.

  Amazing Trip!

  Thank you for an amazing trip! You all understood us perfectly, and became part of the fun in addition to planning the perfect itinerary, pivoting on the fly, and cook the most healthy and delicious meals we could have imagined. The trip has been on my bucket list for years, and not only did my friends help make it the perfect trip, you all did as well. We could not have done it without you!   Purely Blu crew. I knew I'd adore you when I read your bio-My people! But you exceeded my expectations. Chef-your skills in the galley are amazing! How you mixed it up o well is inspiring, and so tasty. Your kindness and love of books are also what I'll most remember. Captain- your skills with a fishing pole and the boat left us wanting for nothing. We are so grateful for you both! What a fabulous start to 2025!

  Wonderful Memories Were Made

  Thank you guys so much for such an amazing trip. You guys consistently went above and being to make our trip so special and it most definitely was. We loved getting to know you guys and hearing all your cool stories. You made us feel so welcome from the time we stepped on the boat. Your flexibility was so appreciated. The food and drinks were all so good, it was hard to stop eating. Thank you for thinking of every way to make the trip so tailored to our family, from the endless snorkel spots and the sunset cruise, to our hikes and evenings at different bars.   Special

  I especially loved how special the crew made the week for us. They were very thoughtful hosts who definitely made the trip even better than it could have been. They went out of their way to make sure each spot we went was special — whether that meant the best view of a sunset, most secluded, or close to a beautiful beach! We will miss you both and wish you the best with future charters! PS. I loved playing Quiddler with y’all! P.P.S. food was amazing!
