CAPTAIN GEORGE
Captain George Benis is a seasoned maritime professional with over 30 years of experience in the Greek yacht charter industry. Holding an MCA/RYA Yachtmaster Offshore certification up to 200GT and a Motor Boat Operator license, he has logged more than 100,000 nautical miles. His passion for the sea began at the age of six in his coastal hometown, forming the foundation of a lifelong career in yachting.
Giorgos further strengthened his technical knowledge through postgraduate studies in mechanical engineering and valuable experience gained during his naval service. For the past five years, he has focused exclusively on crewed yacht charters, where his leadership is defined by professionalism, safety, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional onboard experiences. In 2010, he co-founded the Offshore Sailing Training Center in Volos with his brother, named after their legendary sailing boat, Himera, contributing to the training of future sailors. Fluent in Greek and English, Captain Giorgos is also a proud father of four boys and now brings his extensive experience, calm leadership, and genuine passion for the sea to his role as Captain on board Aloia 80.
CHEF EVEREST
The past seven years have been a journey of learning, growth, and development for talented chef Everest Brachimi. Throughout his culinary career, he has refined his skills across various cuisines and techniques, gaining valuable experience in a range of environments, from fine-dining restaurants and fast-paced hotel kitchens to the demanding and unique settings of yacht galleys.
His dedication and passion for the culinary arts were recently recognised when he won 1st place in the Diamond Category at the EMMY Chef Competition 2026, a remarkable achievement that reflects his talent, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
Throughout his career, Everest has had the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced chefs, developing a strong appreciation for fresh, high-quality ingredients, precision, and consistency. He has also taken on leadership responsibilities, including training and mentoring junior chefs and managing kitchen teams.
Familiar with the latest culinary trends and developments, he enjoys creating versatile menus tailored to different guest preferences, always striving to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
As the chef on board Aloia 80, Everest looks forward to bringing his passion, creativity, and experience to the galley, ensuring memorable culinary experiences for every guest on board.
STEWARDESS RAFAILINA
Meet Rafailina, the Stewardess aboard Aloia 80, bringing a warm, professional, and highly guest-oriented approach to life onboard. With a strong background in luxury hospitality and hands-on maritime experience, she combines confidence at sea with a natural sense of care and attentiveness toward guests. Since 2022, she has gained practical yachting experience as a hostess and in supporting onboard operations, developing strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a solid understanding of smooth yacht service. Alongside her maritime experience, Rafailina has worked in team coordination and support roles, strengthening her communication skills and ability to remain calm, structured, and efficient in dynamic environments. Her experience coaching sailing at different levels further enhanced her patience, teamwork, and intuitive understanding of people’s needs. Known for her friendly personality, reliability, and calm presence, Rafailina creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for guests from the moment they step onboard. On Aloia 80, she is dedicated to delivering discreet, attentive, and seamless service, ensuring guests feel comfortable, well cared for, and at ease throughout their stay. Her blend of professionalism, practical experience, and genuine hospitality makes her a trusted and valued member of the crew.
STEWARD/DECKHAND GEORGE
George, born in 1999, joins Aloia 80 as a versatile deckhand and steward, bringing enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the team. He began his professional journey in hospitality as a waiter in 2018, developing excellent customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail—skills that translate seamlessly to yachting.
Fluent in Greek and English, George communicates effortlessly with both guests and crew, ensuring smooth daily operations and a welcoming atmosphere on board. Eager to learn and adapt, he is ready to assist across both deck and interior duties, always with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a genuine desire to contribute to an exceptional guest experience.
DECKHAND KONSTANTINOS
Konstantinos, born in 1993, brings a wealth of experience to the crew of Aloia 80 as a dedicated deckhand. Konstantinos holds a Captain’s License for Open Sea Vessels and a Speed Boat Operator License (Greek, up to 24m), alongside basic training in Maritime Safety. Motivated and educated in shipping, Konstantinos possesses comprehensive skills in navigation, yacht operations, guest service, and cooking within maritime environments. He is pleasant, hard-working and enjoys life challenges. Fluent in English and Greek and committed to professional growth, Konstantinos seeks opportunities to leverage his knowledge and contribute effectively to a dynamic team aboard Aloia 80.
